Want to use lye soap for your whole household but want to save money? Prefer to buy local? Buy in bulk when you can? Want to use lye soap for laundry, wood working, or felting? Or try your hand at French-milling your own special recipe? Now is your chance: five pounds of handmade lye soap for a great price; four pounds of a first-run lye soap and one pound of a French-milled soap. Made to order. We will even grate it for free. $56 for five pounds, half at time of order.
Choose from one of our popular first-run lye soap recipes and one of our French=milled recipes. You will receive four pounds of the first-run soap in hand-cut bars for daily use and one pound of the French-milled in molded bars for special occasions. Approximately 20-24 bars total. This will last many families a year. Store excess bars cool, dark, and dry. Lye soap stored properly will keep for three years and is actually best when aged 18-24 months. Paper-lined shelves are a good option. This is also a good way to stock bulk soap for retail if you do not need fancy packaging.
Payment is one-half at time of order and the remainder just before shipping. The checkout price is only half of the total. Made to order and may take up to ten weeks for delivery.
If you wish to use the first-run soap for laundry, choose "No Superfat". Superfat is the excess oil put in most soap so it is moisturizing and nice on the skin, but this interferes with laundry use. For crafts, order either way (usually with for wood/leather work, without for felting) as you prefer.
For a limited time, order a "Prepper's Special" and get a coupon for 8% off your next soap order.
We are still working on restoring our soap-by-the-bar ordering and description pages. These should be going up shortly. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions in comments here or by email. We will also give bulk discounts for wholesalers who need individual packaging.
Total price due before shipment will be $56.00.
